• Attorney, graduated from the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (UCAB).
• He has an LLM in Legal Theory and History from the London School Economics and Political Sciences.
• He has specialized in Alternative Dispute Resolution (arbitration, mediation and negotiation) as well as in Civil and Mercantile Disputes, both national and international, with particular reference to contracting and services in the construction and energy fields.
• Arbitrator and Mediator of the Centro de Arbitraje de la Cámara de Caracas (CACC) and the Centro Empresrial de Conciliación y Arbitraje (CEDCA), created by the Venezuela-U.S. Chamber of Commerce Venamcham (the country’s largest) and member of Member of CEDCA’s Legal Advisory Committee.
• Currently he is Head of the Department of Phylosophy of Law and Legal Theory. Former Chairman of Alternative Dispute Resolution Department at the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (UCAB), as well as Professor of Philosophy of Law, at UCAB and IESA, both in undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
• He has published extensively in the areas of Alternative Dispute Resolution, Freedom of Association and Philosophy of Law.
